Cooper Fitch was appointed as a retained partner for one of the Big 4s in Saudi Arabia in order to drive Nationalization initiatives and establish a pool of qualified future leaders of the firm. Given an extreme scarcity and limited number of qualified relevant professionals within the Professional Services field in Saudi Arabia, this project has become a crucial link to the client's business strategy achievement. The project included search and market mapping exercises as well as further engagement and executive assessment of candidates.
Apart from conducting extensive market research and developing a market map through online and offline tools, Cooper Fitch in collaboration with the client established a competency framework around which all candidates were tested. Moreover, shortlisted candidates had gone through preliminary technical and language abilities testing. This assessment approach allowed the client to be fully armed with all important areas highlighted before interviews taking place.
Based on Cooper Fitch recommendation and further assessment by the client, a highly qualified Saudi tax professional was appointed as Senior Manager for the team in Riyadh. The individual had broad experience in both industry and Big 4 firms.
